Lillian Caron Obituary

Lillian A.  (Faucher) Caron, 71 of Lawrence passed away on Tuesday June 2, 2020 at her home.  Mrs. Caron was born in Lawrence and was raised and educated in Methuen.  Lillian served with The US Army as a nurse in the burns and amputee ward in White Sands, New Mexico during the Vietnam War. In 1968 Lillian married her high school sweetheart, Jim Caron and together they raised their three children in Methuen. She retired from Gem Line several years ago.

For many years, Lillian followed her husband’s band wherever they went.  She enjoyed cooking and especially loved being with her family and grandchildren.

Lillian was predeceased by her husband, James D. Caron and her family members include her son James D. Caron, Jr. of Methuen and her daughters, Cheryl Brooks and her husband Scott of New Ipswich, NH and Laura L. Caron of Lawrence.  She also leaves her four grandchildren Kaylin, Shayla, Samantha and James and one great grandson Kaizer James as well as her brother Joseph Faucher and his wife Marguerite of Tamarac, Florida. Lillian also leaves several nieces and nephews including her nephew Eric Faucher.

Family and friends are invited to visitation, practicing social distancing, on Monday June 8, 2020 from 9am to 10:30 am at the Dewhirst  & Boles Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Methuen.  A Graveside service and burial will follow the visitation at 11:00 am on Monday at Walnut Grove Cemetery, Grove St., Methuen, MA  01844.
