Leo Driscoll Obituary

Beloved father, grandfather, brother, friend, and long standing member of the community, Leo Driscoll passed away peacefully at Holy Family Hospital in Methuen, the evening of December 5, 2020. Leo was born in Lawrence Massachusetts in 1943, where he lived most of his life. In 1969 he married Patricia Jarbeau, they have a daughter and two sons. Leo worked at Modicon corp. which became Scheider for over 20 years. 

He was a great lover of sports. For many years he watched his children play and was known by them and all their friends as an enthusiastic taxi, transporting them from one event to the next. Later in life he enjoyed watching his grandchildren participate in the same. Leo particularly loved golfing with his oldest son and did so every chance they got. He was a long time member of the Merrimack Golf Club.

Throughout his life Leo held a special affection for dogs especially his beloved boxers Sharge, Brandy and Clyde.

His oldest brother Joseph preceded him 2003. Leo will be greatly missed by his wife Patricia, his daughter Sharon Garvin of Andover, his sons Glen of Boca Raton, FL and Brian of Haverhill, their spouses and his grandsons Steven Laliberty, Shane and Tristan Garvin. He is also survived by his older brother William (Billy) of Lawrence, Younger brother John (Jack) of Pelham NH, sister Debra Blackwell of Haverhill, and Brother Patrick of Westford and many nieces and nephews. 

The family is planning to hold a memorial service in the spring. In lieu of flowers please donate to the American Diabetes Association at diabetes.org.
