Laura L. Caron

Laura L. Caron, 51 of Lawrence passed away on Saturday October 2, 2021 at her home. Laura was born in Methuen and lived in Methuen and Lawrence all of her life. She worked for over 20 years as a teacher’s aid with handicapped children for the Methuen School System. She also worked for many years operating the overnight shift at Lazarus House in Lawrence.

Laura was a very devoted Christian and was very active with St. Basil’s of Methuen and was very devoted to several local churches including Forest Street Union Church, Corpus Christi Parish and Lazarus House Ministries. She loved being with her family especially her nieces, nephew and great-nephew.

Her family members include her sister Cheryl Brooks and her brother-in-law Scott Brooks of New Ipswich, NH and her brother James D. Caron of Methuen. She also leaves 3 nieces, 1 nephew and 1 great nephew, multiple godchildren and many friends. Laura was predeceased by her parents James D. and Lillian (Faucher) Caron.

Family and friends are invited to visiting hours on Sunday October 10, 2021 from 2 pm to 4 pm at the Dewhirst & Boles Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Methuen. Funeral services will be on Monday October 11 at Noon at the funeral home. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery, Methuen.
