Formerly of Windham, NH, Keith Victor, 80, of Salem, NH, passed away after a short illness at Mass General Hospital in Boston, MA on Thursday, September 7, 2023. He was the beloved husband of Sandra (Wilson) Victor with whom he shared 49 years of marriage. Born on June 23, 1943 in Worcester, MA, Keith was the son of Felix J. and Zofia S. (Marecki) Victor and was a graduate of Classical High School in Worcester, MA.
Keith joined the Navy in 1961 and served on the USS Essex as an Electronics Tech 2nd class. After the Navy, Keith worked for Carr Leather in Lynn, MA and Permair Leather Inc. in Salem, MA in Facility Management. He also worked for Corning in Wilmington MA and retired from International Rectifiers in Leominster, MA in 2011. Keith had a great sense of humor and loved helping anyone who needed a hand. He loved fishing, camping, playing cribbage, crossword puzzles and was an avid reader. But most of all, he loved spending time with his family and friends.
In addition to his wife, Keith is survived by the pride and joy of his life, his children Kurt and his wife Erin (Pappas) Victor of North Andover, MA, and Stacey and her husband John Murray of Methuen, MA. He also leaves his brother Bruce and his wife Susana (Pauliukonis) Victor of Shrewsbury, MA, his brother-in-law James Wilson of North Hampton, NH, a niece Christine (Wilson) Roach, and nephews Michael and his wife Kate Wilson, and Brian Wilson. Keith was a proud Papa to four grandchildren, Cameron and Lauren Victor, Alexis and Mackenzie Murray.
Family and friends are invited to visiting hours on Friday, September 15, 2023 from 5 to 8 PM at the Dewhirst Boles Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Methuen, MA. Funeral services will be held at First Church Congregational, 26 Pleasant Street, Methuen, MA on Saturday, September 16 at 11 AM. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery, Methuen.
