Karhryn Ann (Caissey) Fucile – Methuen, MA

Kathryn Ann (Caissey) Fucile, 67, of Methuen, died Saturday July 30, 2022 at Holy Family Hospital in Methuen. Kate will be missed by all of those who loved her, especially her husband Joseph Fucile; sons Michael Powers of Methuen and Steven Powers of Green Valley, Arizona; daughters Melissa Lawrence and her husband David of New Bedford, Stefanie Mathon and her husband Michael of Sahuarita, Arizona.  Kate also leaves behind her youngest sister Deborah Komberg of Henderson, Nevada; and several grandchildren including Tyler Detmer of Methuen, Massachusetts, Ryan Beland of Hardwick, Massachusetts, Anthony Detmer of Highland, Illinois Kiara Latta-O’Loughlin of Winchendon, Massachusetts, Shaylee Savoie and Dylan Powers of Tucson, Arizona. Kate leaves behind an ex-husband, Chuck Powers, of Green Valley, Arizona, several nieces and nephews, and many virtual friends, of whom she considered family.

Kate attended Leominster High School growing up where she held many jobs including North End Subaru, Laidlaw Bus Company, and was a home health aide before raising her family on her beloved Lake Whalom.

Kate was a die-hard Red Sox fan and loved her four-legged animals. She was a firecracker who always let you know how she was feeling and what her thoughts were on every topic. Those traits will be missed dearly. Kate’s most beloved charity was St. Jude’s.

She was predeceased by her father Raymond Caissey in 1981, her mother Lillian Caissey in 2006, sister Cynthia Creed in 1999 and their brother Joseph “Mr. Leominster” Caissey in 2019.

At the request of the family, funeral services will be private.
