Kathleen M. Marquis

Kathleen M. Marquis, formerly of Methuen, MA passed away February 23, 2024 in North Andover, MA after a period of declining health. Kathy was born in Wilkinsburg, PA on August 23, 1943 to Arnold and Martha Schaub. She graduated from Cardinal Cushing High School in South Boston. Her working career included working as a surgical technician at Carney Hospital in Dorchester and sales assistant/trip planner for Rhodes Scholar. Kathy loved shopping, watching movies and was also a talented seamstress. She especially enjoyed celebrating events with family and friends.

She is predeceased by her parents, her husband Richard, daughter Megan Yip, brother Christopher Schaub and her beloved dog Lady. She is survived by her cherished grandchildren Benjamin Yip of Little Rock, Arkansas and Aaron Yip.  She is also survived by her loving siblings Michael A. Schaub of Toronto, Patricia R. Perkins of So. Weymouth, MA, Noel A. (Catherine) Schaub of Milton, MA, Margaret A. Severson, of Fredericksburg, Virginia, and David A.(Kate) Schaub of St. Albans, Vermont. Kathy also leaves many nieces, nephews, great nieces great nephews, cousins, and extended family and friends.

Friends are invited to join her family in a Celebration of Life which will be held on Saturday, March 16 at 11 AM at the Dewhirst Boles Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Methuen, MA.   Burial will be at a later date.
