Karen Joann Kent

Karen J. Kent, 64, of Lawrence, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 9, 2022, at Lawrence General Hospital, with her family at her side.

The daughter of the late Raymond W. and Theresa G. (Ouellette) Kent, Karen was born in Lawrence on May 4, 1957, and was educated in Lawrence schools.  She was employed as a presser in the clothing manufacturing industry in Lawrence, and later was a school bus monitor.  She was a lifelong Lawrence resident.  Above all, she enjoyed being with her family, and also enjoyed playing penny poker, bingo and 45’s.

Karen is survived by her daughter, Kelly J. Kent of Lowell, three granddaughters, Tess Gagnon of North Andover, Selena Jenkins-Kent of Lawrence, and Joann “Little Monkey” Jenkins Kent of Lawrence, and several nieces and a nephew.  Karen was predeceased by her brother, Kevin R. Kent and her sister, Brenda Moran.
