Judith (Tatarunis) Entwistle – Methuen, MA

Judith (Tatarunis) Entwistle, 76, of Methuen, passed away on Wednesday, May 31, 2023.

The daughter of Mary Tatarunis, she was born on January 23, 1947. She was a graduate of Lawrence High School and later attended Lowell Technological Institute where she met her future husband, James.

Judy was employed at Dynamics Research Corporation in Wilmington, MA for over
25 years. She collaborated on the development of EC 135’s and assisted in many top-secret projects for the military. She also enjoyed working at the family catering business, Bachman’s for many years.

Judy was a very sociable person with many friends whom she considered family.
She was thoughtful and giving, contributing generously to the Home for Little
Wonderers for many years. She enjoyed cake decorating, crossword puzzles, travel and attending
craft fairs with her best friend, Anne Marie Tataronis.

She would often share her love of cooking through food.
Her greatest pleasure was spending time with her treasured grandson, Lukas.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, James Entwistle of North Andover, MA,
her daughter Jami Entwistle and grandson Lukas of Lancaster, MA, brother Robert Tataronis and his wife Anne Marie of Methuen, MA, sister-in-law Janet Tatarunis of Westford, MA, niece Tara Stevens of Pelham, NH, and nephews Jeffrey Tatarunis of Nashua, NH and Gary Tataronis of Methuen, MA. Judy was predeceased by her mother Mary Tatarunis of Methuen, MA and her brother Richard Tatarunis of Tyngsboro, MA.

Calling hours are Wednesday, June 7, 2023 from 9:30 – 10:30 AM at Dewhirst & Boles Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Methuen, MA 01844.  A Mass of Christian Burial will follow the calling hours at St. Monica’s Parish in Methuen.  Burial will follow the Funeral Mass in Haverhill Lithuanian Cemetery on Montvale Ave in Bradford, MA.
