Juan “Joe” Sanchez – Methuen, MA

Juan “Joe” Sanchez, Jr. of Methuen, MA passed away on Friday, February 5, 2021 at the age of 69.

Joe was born to parents Juan Sanchez, Sr. and Lucy Graulau on April 15,1951 in Miami, FL. He grew up as the of 2nd oldest of 9 sisters and 2 brothers. He had one daughter, Olivia, born in 1981. Joe married Melida Sanchez on December 12, 1997, with whom he relocated to Massachusetts in 2005.

For over 18 years Joe owned and operated his own general contracting company while in Miami and in 2009 founded JoeMeli Services, Inc specializing in commercial cleaning and restoration here in Methuen. He lived with a passion of doing everything with his own two hands, believing that anything is achievable through hard work and self-reliance. There was never a project too big to tackle. Although in his younger days he loved fast cars and loud Harley’s, he will always be remembered for quietly enjoying his cold beer, classic rock and western’s. He was truly a beloved husband, father, son, brother and uncle.

Joe is survived by his wife Melida; his mother, Lucy; his daughter Olivia; and stepchildren Carlos, Claudio and Melissa.
