Joseph J. “Joe” Pappalardo – Methuen, MA

Joseph J. “Joe” Pappalardo age 78 of Methuen, passed away on Sunday, January 29, 2023 at his home with his family by his side.  He was born on June 27, 1944 in Lawrence, MA the son of the late, Anthony and Jacqueline (Callahan) Pappalardo.  He was raised and educated in Lawrence, MA and graduated from Lawrence High School, Class of 1964.  Joe owned and operated Evergreen Landscaping in Methuen, MA for 32 years.

Joe loved the outdoors, especially taking care of his lawn and property.  He also loved to tend to his vegetable garden, where he grew the most amazing tomatoes.  He was a dog lover who had many favorite pets over the years.  Joe was also proud to have served as a Methuen Town Counselor for two terms.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Jeanne M. (McAllister) Pappalardo of Methuen, his daughters, Gina M. Pappalardo and her significant other, James K. Freeman of Pelham, NH and Lisa of Wisconsin, his sisters, Rita Mouleart and Kerry Anderson, both of Methuen, his grandchildren, Isaac and Iris and his great-grandchild, Vincenzo, all of Wisconsin.  Joe is also survived by a cousin, Cathy Callahan as well as several nieces and nephews.  He was also predeceased by his sister, Toni Jaye Still.
