Jose D. Torres, Sr.

Jose D. Torres was born in Barranquitas, Puerto Rico on September 8, 1957 to the late Juan N. Torres and Amparo (Flores) Torres. He passed away on February 20, 2023 at Lahey Medical Center Burlington, Ma., due to long term illnesses. Jose was a long-time resident of Waltham, Ma. and lived several years in Kissimmee, FL., and as of recent years,in Woburn, MA. Jose is survived by 3 children Jose Torres, jr., Jesminda Torres, and Crystal Lee Torres.   He was a grandfather of 12 and Great Grandfather to be of 2. He was the brother of the late Ana L. (Torres) Vega, Miriam Alvarado, Ada Lee Torres and is survived by his Brothers Angel L. Torres, Juan A. Torres and his sisters Angela M. Reyes, Edna H. Zayas, and Evelyn Torres along with many nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews, and great great nieces and nephews. He worked for Raytheon Company and Light Metal Platers of Waltham Massachusetts. 

Family and friends are invited to calling hours on Friday March 3, 2023 from 4 pm to 6 pm at the Dewhirst Boles Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Methuen.
