Jose Manuel Carrillo – Lawrence, MA

Jose Manuel Carrillo age 67 of Lawrence, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 8, 2021 at Lawrence General Hospital.  He was born on July 26, 1954 in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico the son of the late, Eladio and Bonifacia (Pena) Carrillo.  He was raised and educated in Puerto Rico.

He had worked in the construction business for many years in both Puerto Rico and the greater Lawrence area.

Jose enjoyed playing Dominoes with his friends, riding his bike and playing pool.  Above all else, he truly enjoyed spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Juanita (Rodriguez) Carrillo, his children, Tania Carrillo, Jose Carrillo, Luis Taveras, Natasha Bradbury and Irene Dixon, his siblings, Rosa Navarro, Jose Carrillo and Monseratte Carrillo.  Twelve grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews also survive him.  Besides his parents, Jose was also predeceased by several siblings.

Calling hours are Tuesday, October 12, 2021 from 2 – 5 PM at Dewhirst & Boles Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Methuen, MA 01844.  A funeral service will follow the calling hours in the funeral home at 5:00 PM.  Burial will take place at a later date at the convenience of the family.
