John Joseph Raineri

John Joseph Raineri, 61, passed away on Tuesday, November 13th at Holy Family Hospital in Methuen.

The son of the late Eugene “Gus” and Barbara (Tacy) Raineri, John was born in Lowell and educated in Lawrence schools. He was a Master carpenter his entire life, self-employed and worked for local unions. John was a lifelong area resident. He loved cooking, fishing, playing cards, and especially loved being with his family.

John is survived by his son, Matthew Hedglin and his wife Kristi; three daughters, Nicole Raineri and her companion Bob, Gillian Murphy and her husband Jason,  and Amanda Raineri and her companion Jesus Garcia; 6 grandchildren: Victoria, Tabitha, Treva, Jayla, Alias, Nya.

John is also survived by his longtime companion, Kathy Murphy. He was predeceased by his grandson, Teyton Murphy. He also leaves his 5 brothers, Kim Raineri and his wife Mary, Albert Raineri and his wife Laura, Jody Raineri, Bruce Raineri and his wife Pamela, and Brian Raineri; his four sisters, Gina Latulippe and her significant other Ronald, Robin and her husband James MacLean, Jill Rodriguez, and Gail Kierstead, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Callings hours will be Saturday, November 17th, 2018 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 noon at the Dewhirst & Boles Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Methuen, MA 01844. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon in the funeral home chapel.
