Jennifer Neel Obituary

Jennifer L. Neel, 42, of Methuen, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 29, 2023, surrounded by her family.

The daughter of Kevin J. and Patricia A. (Hennessy) Neel, Jennifer was born in Methuen in 1980.  She was a graduate of Methuen High School.  Jennifer worked as a medical secretary for several years. She recently was studying Criminal Justice at SNHU.  One of Jennifer’s favorite things to do was watch “her crime shows” with her dog.

Jennifer is survived by her partner Todd Stump and loving puppy Chomper, her brother, Deven R. Neel, her sisters, Loren E. Neel of Methuen and Kathleen M. Neel of Grafton, MA, Grandparents, Michael W. Hennessy of Methuen and Richard and Ann R. (McGovern) Neel of Salem, NH, many, many aunts, uncles and cousins.  Jennifer is predeceased by her grandmother (Nana), Patricia M. (Hodge) Hennessy who died in 2019.

Jennifer lived 22 years with Multiple Sclerosis and was an MS Warrior.  She loved to support the MS cause whenever possible. Memorial contributions may be made to The National Multiple Sclerosis Society at nationalmssociety.org

A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, June 5, 2023, at 11:00 am at Our Lady of Good Counsel Parish at St. Theresa Church, 22 Plymouth Street, Methuen.
