Jean-Yves Ouellet

Jean-Yves Ouellet, 74 of Salem, NH passed away on Friday September 21, 2018 at his home with his family by his side.  Mr. Ouellet was born on April 26, 1944 in LeJeune, Canada.  He was the son of the late, Waldo and Bertha (Beausaigle) Ouellet. 

His family members include his wife, Edith (Dumont) Ouellet and his son, Steve Ouellet and his wife Lisa and his daughter, Jenny Ouellet and her husband, Mark Nichols.  Jean-Yves also leaves behind his loving grandchildren, Alyssa, Cassie, Alison, Jacob, Carl, Jr and Mason.  He also leaves his brothers, Donat Ouellet of Ville Degelis, Canada, Regis Ouellet of Ville Degelis, Canada, Gaitan Ouellet of Montreal, Canada and his sister, Gaitane Ouellet of Ville Degelis, Canada as well as many in-laws, nieces and nephews.

Jean-Yves moved to the United States in 1970 and worked in construction for many years until he started working at Malden Mills in 1981 where he continued to work until his retirement in 2010.  A few of his favorite hobbies included, woodworking, taking care of his yard, playing computer games as well as having a fondness for cars.
