James “Jimmy” McColley – Lawrence, MA

James "Jimmy" McColley 79, passed peacefully at home surrounded by his family. Jimmy was born in Lawrence, MA on August 14, 1943 the son of the late Helen (Burbine) and John McColley. He was also raised and educated in Lawrence.

Jimmy worked for Demoulas Super Market for over thirty-five years. He was an avid bowler and loved collecting baseball cards. Jimmy enjoyed spending time with his family and his grandkids.

Jimmy's is survived by his loving wife of 44 years (Dianne) Jean McColley. His son Jason Curtis and his wife Christina. His daughter Jamie and her husband David Jacques. His eldest son Jason McColley. His many grandchildren; Veronica, Cody, Skylar, Leia, Emma, Brianna and Joe. Jimmy is also survived by his sister's Helen, Maureen and Rita and his brother Joe, as well as many nieces and nephews.  Jimmy was predeceased by his brother Jack McColley.

Family and friends are invited to calling hours on Saturday, March 25, 2023 from 12 – 2:00 PM at Dewhirst Boles Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Methuen, MA 01844. A funeral service will follow the calling hours at the funeral home at 2:00 PM.  Private burial will take place at a later date, at the convenience of the family.
