Jack O'Keefe

Jack O’Keefe, 62 of Methuen passed away on Thursday May 4, 2023. Jack was born on August 19, 1960 in Heidelberg, Germany. He was raised and educated in Lawrence, MA and was a graduate of Lawrence High School where he played baseball. Jack served in the US Army. He was an avid Boston Sports fan and had a love for classic Rock and Roll and especially enjoyed going to rock concerts. He loved cooking especially classic German dishes. and enjoyed being with his family and friends. Jack loved cookouts and drinking his Sam Adams. When with his friends, all the girls were “Darlin” to Jack.

His family members include his daughter and son, Jessica and Patrick O’Keefe of Methuen, his sister Gail Nicosia and her husband Rick Nicosia of Haverhill and his sister Tamy and her fiancé Tom of Salisbury, MA. Jack also leaves his best friend Billy Carter and his family as well as a niece, cousins and many friends.

Family and friends are invited to calling hours on Saturday May 13, 2023 from 2 pm to 5 pm at the Dewhirst Boles Funeral Home, 80 Broadway Methuen. A memorial service will follow the calling hours at 5:00 pm on Saturday at the funeral home. Family and guests are asked to please come casually. Wear a favorite Boston sports shirt or a Rock and Roll shirt. Memorial contributions may be made to either the Methuen MSPCA or to the Salem Animal Rescue League.
