Irma Morales of Londonderry, New Hampshire, entered into eternal rest on November 8, 2025, at the age of 86. Born on August 16, 1939, in Adjuntas, Puerto Rico, she lived a full and faith-filled life devoted to God, her family, and serving others.
A devoted Christian woman, Irma shared her faith with all who crossed her path. Her generosity knew no bounds. She gave without ceasing, always putting the needs of others before her own. Irma retired from Holy Family Hospital after many years of devoted service. She was a faithful member of the New England American Puerto Rican Alliance, an enormous fan of baseball with a devotion to the Red Sox and her love of music brought much joy into her life. Her love for her family was the cornerstone of her life, and she poured her heart into every moment spent with them.
She was preceded in death by her parents Norberto Morales and Providencia Torres; brother Eleuterio Morales, and her cherished grandsons, Alberto Carabello and Anthony Carabello. She leaves behind a legacy of love and faith that will continue to shine through her family.
She is survived by her brother Luis Morales and his wife Rosa of Puerto Rico; her six loving children: Hydee Bernard and her husband Robert of New Hampshire; Leslie Carabello of Massachusetts; Norma Caraballo of Massachusetts; Alberto Carabello of North Carolina; Maritza Nigaglioni and her husband Luis of Massachusetts; and Freddie Mejias and his wife Amy of Mississippi. Irma was a proud grandmother of 17 grandchildren, great-grandmother of 21, and great-great-grandmother of one. She also leaves behind many cousins, nieces, a nephew, and dear friends who will miss her deeply.
Irma’s legacy of unwavering faith, compassion, and selfless love will continue to live on through all those whose lives she touched. Her family finds comfort knowing she is now at peace in the presence of her Lord and Savior.
“Well done, good and faithful servant… enter into the joy of your Lord.” — Matthew 25:23
