With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Henry Mua Achuo, a beloved husband, father, brother, and friend, who passed away peacefully on October 26, 2024, at the age of 57. Born on November 11, 1966, in Wum-Menchum, Cameroon, Henry will be remembered for his immense kindness, boundless generosity, joyful humor, and profound wisdom. His love and unwavering dedication to his family, friends, and community left an indelible mark on everyone who had the privilege to know him.

Henry is deeply mourned and lovingly remembered by his wife, Veronica (Kaniaru) Achuo of Methuen, MA; his children, Hannah Dobrovolskiy and her husband Pavel of Nashua, NH; Yanic Mua Achuo of Woodbridge, VA; Lyonga Ermil Mua of Woodbridge, VA; and Nathal Mua Achuo Jr. of Methuen, MA. Each of them brought him immeasurable pride and joy, and he cherished every moment with his family, always leading with love, integrity, and laughter.

A gifted engineer with a passion for computer science, Henry’s natural curiosity and dedication drove his career success and personal growth. He was as known for his accomplishments as he was for his welcoming spirit, which filled his home with warmth and laughter. A talented cook, he delighted in bringing family and friends together around his table, sharing his joy and hospitality with all. A man of deep faith, Henry found fulfillment in serving others, praising God, and sharing his radiant spirit everywhere he went.

Henry’s dedication went far beyond his family. He was a cherished leader and mentor in the AFADA, Wum, and wider Cameroonian communities. His friendship, guidance, and commitment to his community will be missed deeply, yet his legacy will live on in the countless lives he touch

Calling hours are December 7, 2024 from 2 - 4 PM at Dewhirst Boles Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Methuen, MA 01844. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the funeral home at 4 PM. Family and friends are warmly invited to gather in honor of a life lived with grace and joy.

Henry’s memory will forever live on in the hearts of all who knew him. His spirit will remain a guiding light, deeply missed yet eternally cherished.
