Helen Labo

Helen Labo, age 91, of Derry, NH, passed away on Tuesday, November 16th, 2021, at Grace House of Windham, NH.  Helen was predeceased by the love of her life, husband Julio, in 2002.  She was the faithful and selfless Mother of 7 children, a Nana to 19 grandchildren, as well as a Gigi to 18 great grandchildren.  Helen loved every member of her family unconditionally.

Helen was born in Cambridge, MA on June 20th, 1930.  After marrying Julio, she enjoyed every moment of being a home-maker, raising her children in Reading, MA.  It was rare to visit with her without hearing her laugh when sharing a story from her memories of her children’s growing up years.

Helen is survived by her 4 sons, John and his wife Carole of Myrtle Beach, SC, Gary and his wife Denise of Medford, MA, Larry and his wife Sheila of Parker, CO and Gregory and his wife Melinda of Derry, NH; her 3 daughters, Donna Frongillo of Manchester, NH, Carol Digan and her husband Tom of Derry, NH, and Joanne Dorsky and her husband Tom of Westwood, MA.  Helen was predeceased by her son-in-law, Joe Frongillo several weeks ago.  She is also survived by one brother, Michael McKeown.

Relatives and friends are cordially invited to calling hours on Sunday, November 21st, 2021, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Dewhirst and Boles Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Methuen, MA 01844.  A Funeral Mass will take place on Monday, November 22nd, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. in St. Athanasius Church, 300 Haverhill Street, Reading, MA.  Everyone please meet at church.  Burial will follow in Charles Lawn Cemetery, Reading.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Grace House of Windham, NH or Amedisys Home Health Care.  For directions and online condolences, please visit www.dewhirstbolesfuneral.com
