Glen Brown, 67, of Methuen, MA passed away peacefully on March 17th, 2022 surrounded by his loving family. Born on December 1st 1954, he was the son of the late Norman Brown and Ann (Gallagher) Brown of Lawrence, MA. He leaves his best friend and loving wife, Lori, to whom he was married for 46 years.
As a young man, Glen attended St. Rita’s elementary school in Lawrence, MA where he first fell in love with Lori, sparking a 60 year long inseparable relationship. Glen went on to attend Lawrence High School and continued his studies at Sylvania Technical Institute in Waltham, MA. He worked at Modicon/AEG Schneider Automation in North Andover, MA for 36+ years. After retiring from manufacturing, he worked for NRT for several years driving his “kids” to and from school in and around the Merrimack Valley.
A devoted husband, father and grandfather, “Guga,” Glen loved spending time with his wife, two children and four grandchildren. Traveling to the White Mountains, hunting and fishing, enjoying the outdoors, and taking care of his grandchildren each day were his favorite things to do. He was often found sitting in his favorite chair laughing with his wife and watching Boston sports teams. Most importantly, Glen laid a strong foundation of love and support for his family. He never missed a game, birthday party or family gathering. He told his family how much he loved them all, and how proud they made him each day.
Besides his wife, Lori, Glen is survived by his children: his son, Jarrod Brown and his wife Ashleigh of Dracut, MA, and his daughter Courtney Bowden and her husband Dan of Methuen, MA; his loving grandchildren: Addy, Allyson, Mackenzie and Jacob, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Norma Persechino and his brother David Brown. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that people consider giving to St. Jude Children’s Hospital: https://www.stjude.org
