Frederick T. Pietrowski

Frederick T. Pietrowski 79, of Lawrence passed away peacefully with his family at his side on November 19, 2020 at the VA Hospital in West Roxbury.

The son of the late Joseph F. and Mary G.(Byrne) Pietrowski, Fred was born in Methuen, MA on August 24, 1941.  He was educated in Salem, NH schools and was a graduate of Central Catholic High School Class of 1959.  He served in the United States Navy for 4 years in the late fifties – early sixties in submarine service.  For many years he was employed in the electronics field, retiring from Honeywell.  A family man first, he was an author and an avid woodcarver.  Fred was active in the Boy Scouts for many years and loved camping, fishing and hunting.  Fred was fiercely loved and will be missed by many.

Fred is survived by his wife of 57 years, Linda (Kibildis) Pietrowski, he is also survived by his seven children and spouses; Mike and Cara Pietrowski, Cheryl Perkins and Bert Woods, Joe and Denise Pietrowski, Tina and Chris Cox, Tencza and Rich Parsons, Dan and Pam Pietrowski, and Adam and Tiffany Pietrowski. Fred was also grandfather to 21 and great-grandfather to 2. Fred is also survived by his siblings Richard, Mary, Cathy, and Paul as well as their spouses and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends may call Sunday, November 22, 2020 from 2:00pm to 5:00pm at the Dewhirst & Boles Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Methuen, MA 01844.  A Requiem Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, November 23, 2020 at 10:00am in Sacred Heart Church, 321 So. Broadway, Lawrence, MA 01843.  Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Salem, NH. 

Due to COVID-19, masks and social distancing will be strictly observed at the funeral home and at the church.
