Fred J. Fuoco, 69, of Salem, NH, passed away suddenly on Friday, August 7, 2020, at Holy Family Hospital in Methuen.

The son of the late Fred and Rose (Trovato) Fuoco, Fred was born in Lawrence General Hospital on May 27, 1951.  He was educated in Lawrence schools and was a graduate of Lawrence High School.  Fred was a Vietnam War era veteran and was drafted into the U. S. Army in 1971 and served until 1973, when he was honorably discharged.  He did his basic training at Ft. Dix, N. J. and was then stationed in Tacoma, Washington for several months before heading to Frankfurt, Germany, where he completed his tour along with his wife, Linda.  Fred was employed for many years at Textron Systems in Wilmington, before retiring in May, 2016.  Fred enjoyed cooking and taking care of his family.  He and his wife, Linda, enjoyed visiting Foxwoods and Las Vegas for many years.

Fred is survived by his wife of 48 years, Linda  (Steele) Fuoco of Salem, NH; a son, Christopher and his wife, Ida and his two beloved grandsons, Brennan and Kelan of Salem, NH.  He is also survived by his brothers, Larry and his wife Hilda, Frank and his wife Tina, all of Lawrence, MA, and Richard of Haverhill, MA, a sister-in-law Jackie and her husband Russell Gamache of Henderson, NV, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and aunts.

Fred was an organ donor and his generous gift will give sight to two recipients.
