Elizabeth J. Dragon

Elizabeth Janet (Saab) Dragon passed away at age 93 in her sleep on October 26, 2025 with her rosary beads in her hand. She always prayed for all her family and friends. Elizabeth was the fourth oldest of 11 children. She was born February 5, 1932, and was raised in Methuen, MA.  She was a graduate of St. Mary’s High School.  After graduating high school, she spent time helping her mother.  Later she worked as a sales representative selling jewelry and worked for Stanley Home Products.  She also worked for the Tyer Rubber Company for many years. 

She always talked about the time she spent with her mother and how much she loved her.  She was a very kind and loving sister, and very kind to her nieces and nephews. Elizabeth loved attending church and meeting with her very many loving friends afterwards. 

Elizabeth is predeceased by her husband Alton Dragon, her parents Louis and Julia (Khoury) Saab, her siblings Lillian Keyes, Albert Saab, Florence Hoehn, and Frank “Mickey” Saab, and most recently her sister Julia Saab, as well as her nephews Steven Hoehn, John Keyes, and niece Ashley Mason.  She was also predeceased by her sister and brothers- in-law, Ronald Keyes, Bruce Hoehn, Katherine “Kitty” Saab, Kathleen Saab, Dorothy Saab, Richard Dragon, Irene Therrin, and several nieces and nephews related to her husband Alton Dragon. 

Elizabeth leaves behind five siblings William Saab, Helen Keyes, Johnny Saab, Louis Saab, Louella Saab and two sisters-in-law Joyce Saab and Jane Saab as well as many cousins, and over 21 nieces, nephews and spouses who will greatly miss her. 

Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Wednesday November 5, 2025 from 10 am to 11 am at St Joseph Melkite Greek Catholic Church 241 Hampshire Street Lawrence, MA. Funeral services will follow the visitation at 11:00 am on Wednesday at the church. Burial will be in St Mary Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Lawrence.
