Eleanor McCourt – Lawrence, MA
Eleanor McCourt passed peacefully on Monday, January 27, 2025 at her home.
She was born on March 31, 1937. Eleanor is the daughter of James and Ellen (Keating) McCourt.
Eleanor attended local schools and graduated from St. Patrick's High School.
She was very active - participating in many golf leagues and ski clubs throughout New England.
Eleanor worked for Lucent Technologies for many years in Human Resources and Safety Administration. Following her retirement from Lucent, she worked for the Internal Revenue Service in Andover for many years.
Eleanor is survived by her cousins James Keating and his wife Carol (Markey) of Salem, NH and their children, Joseph and his wife Teesha and their children - Sienna, Aidan and Ethan, Ryan and his partner Hannah and his children - Ronin and Liam, James Jr. and his wife Chelsea and their children - Connor, Jameson and Riley, Cousin Richard Cain and his wife Patricia of North Andover.
The family would like to thank the Staff and Administration of Home Well Care Services in Andover for the wonderful care and attention that Eleanor received.

Calling hours are Monday, February 3, 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at Dewhirst Boles Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Methuen, MA 01844. A Mass of Christian Burial to follow at St. Patrick's Church, 118 South Broadway, Lawrence, MA. Burial will follow the Funeral Mass in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in North Andover, MA.
