Edward Daniel "Danny" Marcinonis

Edward Daniel “Danny” Marcinonis, 91, of Seabrook, NH, formerly of Methuen and Haverhill, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 8, 2022, at Hyder Family Hospice in Dover, NH.

 The son of the late Peter and Anna (Mikelonis) Marcinonis, Danny was born in Lawrence on December 9, 1930.  Danny was a graduate of Lawrence High School and attended Lowell Technological Institute, now U-MASS LOWELL.  He was employed as a Draftsman at AT&T in North Andover for over 35 years, until his retirement in 1992.  He also was employed at the former Rockingham Race Track in Salem, NH for 22 years.  He also served in the Army National Guard for 13 years while at AT&T.  Danny was a very quiet, patient, hard-working and caring man.  He knew many people and had many friends from Rockingham Race Track.  He was also a caregiver to many of his family members.

 Danny was the husband and dear friend of 37 years to the late Catherine “Rita” Silvio Marcinonis and is survived by his step-son, Michael F. Duddy and his significant other Lisa Hollins, both of Seabrook, NH, and was predeceased by his step-son, Ronald Duddy, Jr.  Danny was also predeceased by his brothers, Peter Marcinonis and William Marcinonis and his wife, Charlotte, and also his sisters and their husbands, Anna and John Driscoll, Jr., Rose and Harry Holmes, Arline and Dr. John Makus, Genevieve and Robert Powers and Joan and Jack Rogers.  Danny is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

 A Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at 12:30 p.m. at the Dewhirst and Boles Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Methuen, MA 01844.  Relatives and friends are cordially invited to calling hours on Tuesday, June 14, 2022, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in the Elmwood Cemetery, Methuen.
