Edmund G. Nasser, 93 of Lawrence passed away on Tuesday May 31, 2022 at his home. Mr. Nasser was born and raised in Lawrence. He was a 1947 graduate of Lawrence High School. Edmund had worked for the former Bond Bread and First National Stores and later and before his retirement, he worked for the City of Lawrence Water Department, School Department and Parts Department. Edmund was a member of St Patrick Parish of Lawrence and was a member of the former St Patrick Holy Name Society and was a member of The Men of St Patrick’s. He also served as a Eucharistic Minister at St Patrick’s and served as a church usher since 1948. He volunteered at Bingo at various local parishes including St Patrick’s parish, St Anthony Maronite Church and St Joseph Melkite Church. He also volunteered at Cor Unum Meal Center. Edmund served in The US Navy during the Korean War aboard The USS Cabot and he was a life member of the D.A.V. Edmund would say “If you see a veteran, be kind to a veteran.”
The widower of Lucie E. (Haigh) Nasser, Edmund’s family members include his daughters Helen M. Nasser and Mary Ann Proctor and her husband Donald Proctor both of Lawrence. He also leaves two godsons Wilbur Levesque and Charles Nasser as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents George and Helen (Negem) Nasser and his brother George J. Nasser, Jr.

A Funeral Mass will be on Wednesday June 8 at 11:00 am in St Patrick Church, 118 S. Broadway, Lawrence, Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery N. Andover.
