Dr. Assibong Patrick Agbor – Boston, MA
Political Scientist and Activist Dr. Assibong Patrick Agbor, age 57of Boston, passed away on July 1, 2023, in Boston, Massachusetts after a brief illness.
Patrick was born in Cameroon, Africa on September 15, 1965. His aspirations for politics started as a child, a path he took to build his career as a politician until his demise. Patrick taught Political Science in several Higher Institutes of Learning in Nigeria and Cameroon. He will be remembered and missed for the part he played in advocating for political and social justice, and his leadership role recognized by traditional chieftaincy titles including: “Sesseku” and “Ntufam.”
A family-loving and caring father, uncle, and grandfather, Patrick is survived by 9 children, a sister, nieces, and nephews to mourn him.
The funeral service will be Saturday, August 26, 2023 at 10:00 AM at the Dewhirst Boles Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Methuen MA 01844. Following the funeral service, he will be laid to rest in Bellevue Cemetery, 10 May Street, Lawrence, MA 01841.
