Dotty (affectionately known by friends as McGee) was born and raised in Lawrence MA where she lived a joyful sober life for the past 31 years. Dotty was involved in many community activities throughout the Merrimack Valley and has been employed as a School Bus Driver for over a decade at North Reading Transportation (NRT) where she made lifelong friendships. Dotty drove for the Wilmington School District where she was loved by her students and enjoyed being a part of their lives throughout the years.
Dotty enjoyed beach trips, hair dressing, bargain shopping, art and fashion but her proudest accomplishment was becoming a mother. She was the life of the party with her lively spirit, laughter, sense of humor and dance skills. She enjoyed rooting for her Boston sports teams as well as her children’s sports. Nana Dotty loved going to marching band competitions with Cayden. One of the highlights of her week was the sleepover with her sister Joyce while they watched their favorite TV shows together.
Dotty’s faith in God was the foundation of her life as she strived to live the way Jesus would want her to. Dotty “McGee” specifically requested to be remembered for her lively spirit and extends an invitation to celebrate with those that loved her and were touched by her life.
