Doris M (Fram) Stravinskas

Doris M. (Fram) Stravinskas, 97, of Newton, NH, formerly of Methuen, passed away on Monday, July 4, 2022, at Care One Peabody in Peabody, MA.

The daughter of the late George and Rose (Garofalo) Fram, Doris was born in Methuen on June 9, 1925.  She attended Methuen schools and was a graduate of Searles High School in Methuen.  For many years, she was employed as an assembler at Western Electric, later AT&T, in North Andover from where she retired.  She resided in Methuen most of her life.  She enjoyed travelling to many areas, and travelled to foreign countries many times.  Her best companion was her late sister, Selma.  They both enjoyed going to flea markets and backyards sales, and bargaining for items at these sales.

Doris was the wife of the late Peter Stravinskas, who died in 1976, and is survived by a nephew and his wife, George O. and Margaret Dufour of Methuen, who were her caregivers; a nephew, Don Dufour of Methuen; a niece, Mary Ann Wall of Lawrence; and many other nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be private at the convenience of the family, and burial will take place in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Lawrence.  There are no calling hours at the request of the family.
