Deborah Ann (Poirier) Lister

Deborah A. (Poirier) Lister, 66, of Methuen, passed away on January 1, 2023, in her home after a long and very courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by her loving family.

Born January 26, 1956, in Methuen, MA, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Constance (Nevins) Poirier.  Deborah was employed with Digital for many years before her retirement.  She adored her family more than anything and took such pride in her home.  Debbie loved family gatherings, working in her yard, music and dancing.  She was the “sunshine” wherever she was.  She always took pictures and videos and with that, we are left with the best memories to cherish for lifetime.  She will be sorely missed, never forgotten, and always in our hearts.

The widower of John “Jack” Riviezzio, she is survived by three children; Gordon A. Lister iii of Plaistow, NH, Tanya M. Lister of Lewiston, ME. and Richard K. Lister and his wife Stacy Lister of Plaistow, NH; five grandchildren, Kassie, Talon, Isabella, Daylee, and Kylie, and five great grandchildren, Jeremias, Jayce, Karlle, Zoey, and Kole.  She is also survived by her brother, William “Buster” Poirier, a sister, Darlene and her husband Paul Levasseur and dear partner, Robert Giordano.  Deborah was predeceased by her brother, Richard Poirier, Jr. and sister, Patrice Scott.

Relatives and friends are cordially invited to calling hours on Friday, January 6, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. to 12 Noon at the Dewhirst and Boles Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Methuen, MA 01844.  A Funeral Service will follow at 12 Noon at the Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in the Elmwood Cemetery, Methuen.
