David Roy Obituary

David B. “Stymie” Roy, 63 a longtime resident of Lawrence passed away on Saturday January 15, 2022 at his home in Nashua, NH. David was born in Methuen and was raised and educated in Lawrence. He worked for many years at K-Mart in Salem, NH. David enjoyed following New England sports teams, video games, playing 45’s and spending time with his family and friends.

David was predeceased by his parents Roland J. Roy and Yvonne M. (Beaudette) Roy. His family members include his sisters Cheryl Sullivan and her husband Brian of Methuen, Susan Roy and Ron Ford of N. Andover, Cindy Lombardi and her husband Stephen of Salem, NH and he also leaves his brother William Roy and his wife Debra of Methuen. David also leaves many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, aunts, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his brother Robert Roy.

Family and friends are invited to visiting hours on Thursday January 20, 2022 from 5 pm to 7 pm at the Dewhirst & Boles Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Methuen. Funeral services will be on Friday January 21 at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Andover.
