Constantino Quispe (Cueto) – Methuen, MA

Constantino Quispe (Cueto), 76 of Methuen, Massachusetts, a trailblazer of guidance and

wisdom, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 11th, 2024, at Massachusetts General

Hospital. Born in Cañete, Lima, Peru, Constantino led a life of virtue and leadership for this

family.

A hardworking, strongheaded father, Constantino raised five children (three daughters and two

sons) alongside his wife Luzmila Quispe (Medina) and taught lessons and guided his nine

wonderful grandkids. His children’s accomplishments are a testament to his long-lasting impact

of compassion, leadership, and knowledge.

Constantino’s love for his family and God was unmatched, just as his wife Luzmila, by his

dedication to provide for others and service within his church community, Iglesia Esfuerzo

Cristiano where he was a faithful member for more than 15 years. Whether it was lending a

helping hand financially, serving as an usher and an active participant in the elder ministry, he

moved through life with a calm and loving demeanor that led with a selfless attitude to help

others.

His home was filled with faith, prayers, and never-ending hope. His home was always open to

host church and family events, Constantino made sure all who stood, left feeling welcome to

always return.

Constantino will continue to be remembered by the Peruvian Association, he has been a

member since 1998 when he arrived to Methuen. His hard work and wisdom are how he will be

remembered by all.

Calling hours are Friday, January 19, 2024 from 4 – 8 PM at Dewhirst Boles Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Methuen, MA 01844. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2024 at 9:30 AM at the funeral home.  Burial will follow the Funeral Service in Elmwood Cemetery, 130 North Lowell Street, Methuen, MA.

Following the burial there will be an optional gathering at Spanish Assemblies of God Church,

14 Vine Street, Lawrence, MA. All are welcome to join the family and friends of Constantino at

12:30pm.

Constantino Quispe (Cueto), de 76 años, de Methuen, Massachusetts, un pionero de la

orientación y la sabiduría, falleció pacíficamente el jueves 11 de enero de 2024 en el Hospital

General de Massachusetts. Nacido en Cañete, Lima, Perú, Constantino llevó una vida de virtud y

liderazgo para esta familia.

Constantino, un padre trabajador y testarudo, crió a cinco hijos (tres hijas y dos hijos) junto a su esposa Luzmila Quispe (Medina) y enseñó lecciones y guió a sus nueve maravillosos nietos. Los logros de sus hijos son un testimonio de su impacto duradero de compasión, liderazgo y conocimiento.

El amor de Constantino por su familia y por Dios no fue igualado, al igual que el de su esposa Luzmila, por su dedicación a proveer a los demás y al servicio dentro de su comunidad eclesial, la Iglesia Esfuerzo Cristiano, donde fue miembro fiel durante más de 15 años. Ya sea ayudando financieramente, sirviendo como ujier y participante activo en el ministerio de ancianos, se movía por la vida con una conducta tranquila y amorosa que lo guiaba con una actitud desinteresada para ayudar a los demás. Su hogar estaba lleno de fe, oraciones y esperanza infinita.

Su casa siempre estuvo abierta para albergar eventos familiares y de la iglesia, Constantino se aseguró de que todos los que estaban allí se fueran sintiéndose bienvenidos y siempre regresaran.

Constantino seguirá siendo recordado por la Asociación Peruana, es miembro desde 1998 cuando llegó a Methuen. Su arduo trabajo y sabiduría son la forma en que todos lo recordarán.

Se llevará a cabo un servicio para honrar la vida de Constantino en la funeraria Dewhirst Boles el viernes 19 de enero de 2024, de 4 p. m. a 8 p. m., donde se honrarán los recuerdos de su vida con amigos y familiares. Nos reuniremos el sábado 20 de enero de 2024 de 9:30 a. m. a 10:30 a. m. en la funeraria Dewhirst Boles, seguido a las 11 a. m. con un entierro en el cementerio de Elmwood, 130 North Lowell Street, Methuen, MA.

Después del entierro habrá una reunión opcional en la Iglesia Española de las Asambleas de

Dios, 14 Vine Street, Lawrence, MA. Todos son bienvenidos a unirse a la familia y amigos de
