Claudio Troncoso, 61, passed away on September 5, 2023, surrounded by his family. Claudio was born on October 30, 1961, to Zoraida (94) and Manuel Troncoso (deceased). His father passed away early in his life. Claudio was raised by his mother and his siblings in the Dominican Republic. He migrated to the U.S. with his family when he was 12 years old. His brother Julio passed away in 2011 and this loss impacted him greatly.
Claudio leaves behind three children, Elizabeth, Emily, CJ, and one grandchild Elianny Claudia daughter to Elizabeth. He is survived by his siblings, Yocasta Becker (Alan), Manuel Troncoso (Daisy), Magnolia Troncoso (Danilo Vasquez), Silvinia Riley (Kevin), Lissette Meyers (Paul) and countless cousins, nieces, and nephews.
He was the youngest sibling and had a special bond with his mother, Zoraida. He was a father, a friend, and an amazing uncle to all his nieces and nephews. He was always the first to offer help to anyone and never left a task undone.
Claudio was silly at times and he had a quirkiness about him that made everyone around him laugh. He had a love of fishing, cars, traveling, singing, dancing and was like a walking Encyclopedia. He knew something about everything and was often called upon for his expertise by family, friends, and strangers alike. But, what he enjoyed the most was spending time with family. He was selfless and had a kind soul.
Claudio became a firefighter for the Lawrence Fire Department in 1994 and retired from the fire department in 2016. He was a true firefighter at heart and took tremendous pride in all he did.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to calling hours on Saturday, September 16, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dewhirst Boles Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Methuen, MA 01844.
