Charles Niboh – Lowell, MA
Charles Niboh was born on March 10, 1961 in Yaounde, Cameroon.
He attended the Government Bilingual Primary School in Yaounde, where he obtained his First School Leaving Certificate. Throughout his youth, he was well known for his role as a Mass servant at the Cameroon English Catholic Church in Elig Effa, Yaounde. His dream was to become a Priest.
Upon completion of his primary education, he was admitted into Saint Joseph's College, Sasse in Cameroon. This was after an abortive attempt to get into Bishop Rogans College. He later went to Nigeria for further studies. Charles later returned to Cameroon and established a business in Yaounde.
With the assistance of his parents, he owned 3 telephone booths, a convenient store and 3 taxis. He ran his business for a few years, sold his assets and moved to Germany for greener pastures. Due to hard times, Charles decided to relocate to Cameroon 5 years later. He moved to the U.S. in 2012 and passed away on February 1, 2023 in Lowell MA.
He had a heart of gold and a spirit that was contagious to those around him. We will miss his laughter, his presence, and his multiple incessant phone calls.
He leaves behind 3 brothers, 2 sisters, a grandson, cousins, nephews, and nieces.
Although his time with us was short, the impact he made in our lives will remain forever.
