Carol J. Philbrick

Carol J. Philbrick age 75 died on October 5, 2021 at Salem Haven Nursing Home after a brief battle with cancer. She previously resided in Salem, NH for the past several years with her daughter- in-law / caretaker Leslie M. Philbrick.

Carol was predeceased by her father Harry "the hat" Peters and her mother Catherine (Morgan) Peters.  She was also, predeceased by her former partner Robert F. Philbrick and her son Patrick J. Philbrick.

Carol is survived by her son David A. Philbrick, Jr. of Lawrence and her daughter- in-law Leslie M. Philbrick of Salem, NH and her daughter Karen J. Philbrick of Salem, NH. She also leaves

her grandchildren Joseph P. Philbrick of Salem, NH, Madison E. Guptill of Hooksett, NH, Madilyn R. Guptill of Auburn, NH and Shaun P. Philbrick of Salem, NH and several nieces and nephews.

As a child growing up in Long Island, NY Carol loved horseback riding, sneaking into the drive-in movies and spending days with family and friends at Sound Beach.

Carol retired, after 20 years of service, from the IRS after becoming disabled in 2005. Carol enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and was an avid bingo player and had a lifelong love of the ocean.

The family would like to thank the staff at Salem Haven Nursing Home for the excellent care given to Carol while residing at the facility
