Caitlin Dawn MacNeil

Caitlin Dawn MacNeil, 35, of Lowell, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 28, 2020. She was surrounded by all of her loving family in the days leading up to her death.

Caitlin was born on June 11, 1985 in Lawrence, Massachusetts and lived in Methuen for the majority of her life. She attended Methuen High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Massachusetts-Lowell, graduating in 2009. She earned her masters degree in applied behavioral analysis from Bay Path University. She was a board certified ABA therapist, working at various schools but most recently, Applied Behavior Analysis Consultation and Services, LLC.

Caitlin had many passions in life but what really made her light up was working in the mental health field and working with autistic children. She treated every child with unconditional love, respect and care and regarded them as if they were her own. She dedicated her life to the field and the world is a much better place for it.

In her spare time, she enjoyed going to metal music shows and developed many close friendships around the country from that scene. Her friends and family will attest that she was always there for them in times of need. Caitlin had a special way of making everyone feel as though they were perfect. She also cherished spending time with her nephews and niece, Colin, Ziggy, and Lainie.

Caitlin leaves behind her parents, father Donald MacNeil and stepmother Donna MacNeil, mother Catherine Hubley and stepfather Scott Hubley, sisters Courtney Parker and her husband Timothy Parker, Megan Autrey and her husband Jason Autrey, her brother Daniel Hubley, niece Lainie Parker, nephews Colin Parker and Ziggy Autrey, boyfriend Jesse Brogan, cats Olivia and Macavity, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins, whom she adored.
