Bruce W. Bowers

Bruce William Bowers, 62, of North Andover, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on January 7, 2026. He was born on February 26, 1963.

Bruce attended public schools in the Lawrence, Massachusetts, School System. During his youth, he especially enjoyed summers spent at Sandy Island YMCA Camp on Lake Winnipesaukee in New Hampshire, an experience that remained a fond memory throughout his life.

Bruce appreciated life’s simple pleasures and the people closest to him. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

He was predeceased by his father, William Arthur Bowers Jr., his mother, Betty Lee (Kubicek) Bowers, and his stepmother, Ruth B. (Wenzel) Bowers.

Bruce is survived by his sister, Lori Nutter, and her husband, Rodney Nutter, of Bradford, Massachusetts, and their family: Zachary Nutter and his wife, Anitha, of Billerica, Massachusetts; Timothy Nutter, of Haverhill, Massachusetts; and Sydney Nutter, of Bradford, Massachusetts; his Aunt Joan Lee of Silver Spring, Maryland, and her family; his brother Bob Zapert and his wife, Karen McDonald, of Framingham, Massachusetts, and their family; his brother Paul Zapert and his wife, Pat Zapert, of Dracut, Massachusetts, and their family; along with many extended family members and friends who knew and loved him.

The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated workers of Vinfen, a behavioral health services provider, for their care and companionship over many years.
