Bonnie J. Fritschy

Bonnie Jean (Dube) Fritschy, 62, of Lawrence, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her children, on Sunday, August 9, 2026. Bonnie will be remembered first and foremost as a devoted mother, beloved grandmother, and cherished friend. She had a lifelong love of cooking and dedicated many years of her career to Andover Public Schools.

If you asked Bonnie what she was most proud of in her life, she would say, without hesitation, her children. Her five children were always at the center of her world, and she worked tirelessly to provide them with a life filled with love, opportunity, and memories that would last long after she was gone. But perhaps Bonnie's most precious gifts were her grandchildren: Sofia, Charlee, Violet, Parker, August, and Louisa. Being a grandmother gave her another opportunity to pour her heart into making sure her grandchildren experienced the very best version of her, loving them just as deeply as her own children. 

She had a fun-loving, youthful spirit that could light up any room. She loved all things sparkly and pink, and she never missed an opportunity to have fun, whether it was at Disney World, at the beach, or simply in the backyard surrounded by the people she loved. She had a special way of making every holiday and birthday feel magical. Her over-the-top decorations, cooking, and love of gift-giving made every celebration memorable. If you made an impact on Bonnie's life, she made sure to hold onto those memories and share the stories that meant the most to her.

Bonnie is survived by her beloved children; her daughter, Sara Fritschy and Robert Cabrera, of Haverhill, her son, Anthony Fritschy, Jr. and Lindsey Doyle, of Litchfield, NH, her daughter, Rachel and Patrick Pozzetti, of Eliot, ME, her daughter, Chelsea and Thomas Womersley, of North Andover, and her daughter, Taylor and Matthew Fernald, of Tewksbury. She also leaves behind her children's father, Anthony Fritschy, Sr. of Lowell.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, Richard P. Dube and Yvonne Dube; her brothers, William and Jerome Dube; and her dear friend, Marie Coon.

Bonnie will live on through her children and grandchildren, whom she loved so fiercely, and through the countless memories she created with them. Her family will forever carry her laughter, her strength, her love, and her sparkle with them.

Family and friends are invited to calling hours on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Dewhirst Boles Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Methuen. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at 11:30 a.m. at St. Michael Church, 196 Main Street, North Andover, MA. Friends are asked to meet directly at the church.
