Blanche B. Campbell

Blanche B Campbell, 95 Of Salem NH passed gently into life Saturday, January 16, 2021 at Penacook Place Haverhill MA

 Born Blanche B. Gaudin, May 23, 1925 at Lawrence General Hospital, she was raised and educated in North Andover.  Blanche was employed for several years by General Electric Company, Lynn.

 Blanche Married Walter H. Wilson at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Lawrence, MA. Walter passed away in 1975. Blanche married Lloyd Campbell at St Andrews Episcopal Church, Methuen in 1984 and was widowed after a second wonderful marriage in 2011.

A woman of remarkable determination and an iron will, she would achieve baccalaureate and post graduate education at Fitchburg State College, becoming a Licensed Special Education Teacher specializing in testing.  Blanche was loved by her students and retired after 17 happy years with the N. Andover School System.

 She was a lifetime parishioner of St Andrews Episcopal Church, Methuen.  She was active in her retired teachers association, book clubs, was an extensive world traveler, a lover of fine dining and relentless in the search for the truly perfect dry martini.

Her family members include her son David Wilson Sr of Haverhill MA; her beloved daughter Aileen Wilson of Lake Orion MI. Her stepson Ted  his wife Carol and grandson Justin of Plantation, FL. She also leaves her grandson David Wilson Jr, his wife Elizabeth and great grandchildren Luke and Annabeth, of  Lake Orion MI. also several beloved cousins and many close friends. Blanche was predeceased by her daughter Kathryn Ann.

All are welcome to a brief grave side service Saturday morning January 23, 2021 at 10:30 AM at  Elmwood Cemetery, 130 N. Lowell St., Methuen MA. A memorial service and gathering will be announced in the future as the present crisis allows. 

Donations in Blanche's name encouraged to the benefit of charitable works of St. Andrews Episcopal Church.
