Betty P. McConnell

Betty P. McConnell, 94, a longtime resident of Hampton, NH passed away on Saturday June 2, 2018 at High Pointe Hospice House Haverhill, with her loving family by her side.  She was the daughter of the late Alexander and Hannah Hamilton and was born, raised and educated in Methuen. 

Betty was predeceased by her husband, Gerald A. McConnell to whom she was married for 72 years; and her sister Sarah H. Malcolm.

She leaves behind family members including her sister, Margaret Northup of Methuen, several nieces and nephews including her niece and caregiver, Donna L. Griffin of Methuen. Throughout her life, Betty most enjoyed spending time with family, friends, and caring for animals.

Family and friends are invited to a graveside services on Saturday June 16, 2018 at 10:00 am at Elmwood Cemetery, 130 N. Lowell St., Methuen, MA. Memorial contributions may be made to either High Pointe Hospice House, 360 North Ave., Haverhill, MA 01832 or to the MSPCA, 400 Broadway, Methuen, MA 01844.
