Betsey N. Reddish, 84 a longtime resident of Andover passed away on Sunday August 5, 2018 with her loving family at her side. Mrs. Reddish was born in Hyannis, MA and was raised and educated in Harwich, MA. She was a 1952 graduate of Harwich High School and a graduate of Deaconess Hospital School of Nursing. Before retirement, Betsey worked as a registered nurse for 26 years at Lawrence General Hospital. She enjoyed gardening, watching birds, knitting and crocheting and also served for 11 years as a Girl Scout leader. Above all, Betsey loved being with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Robert L. Reddish and her family members include her son, Robert T. Reddish and his wife, Elizabeth of Methuen, her daughters, Cynthia A. Rothwell and her husband, Richard of Manchester, NH, Leslie S. Reddish of Methuen and Sarah L. Rose and her husband, Christopher of Andover. Betsey also leaves her sister, Alfreda White of Hopkinton, MA, 8 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to visiting hours on Friday August 10, 2018 from 4pm to 6pm at the Dewhirst & Boles Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Methuen.
