Barbara Doucot – Methuen, MA
Barbara Douçot, 86, of Methuen, MA, passed away on September 10, 2025. Barbara was born in Lawrence, MA, on January 14, 1939, the daughter of Edward and Eleanor (Ashford) Champy. She was raised and educated in Lawrence and graduated from the Lawrence General Hospital School of Nursing. Barbara loved her family and cherished spending summers at the family’s “camp” at Little Island Pond in Pelham, NH, where she was an active community member, and with her husband Bob, hosted the Pond’s Junior Fishing Derby for many years. When at home, Barbara would often be found outside in the company of family, friends, and beloved pets. Traveling with Bob and her cousin Carol O’Donohue brought Barbara great joy. Over the years, the three of them created many great memories. Barbara also loved keeping in touch and getting together with her nursing school friends.
