Antigua Viñas Obituary

Antigua Viñas, 87, died June 10, 2020, from COVID-19 complications.

Antigua was born in La Vega, DR on January 15th, 1933. She resided in the Lawrence, MA with her family either by her side or a short five minute drive away.

Antigua was a devoted mother and grandmother. She is survived by her eight children, Liborio Marte, Maria Peña, Felix Marte, Pedro Marte, Juana Fajardo, Zoraida Nuñez, Rolando Viñas, and Fausto Viñas. Antigua is also survived by 22 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. She passed away knowing her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren love her dearly and cherished every single moment they had with her. Holiday and birthday dinners will never be the same again.

Her children have decided to honor Antigua’s wishes by cremating her. Services will be held at the Dewhirst & Boles Funeral Home on Tuesday June 16, 2020 from 10am to 12pm.
