Anna Chung Ma passed away at the age of 52 on July 6th 2024. She was born on August 10th, 1971 and was raised with her sister, Cecily by her two parents Yeung Yuk Lung and Ng Mei Fong. She pursued her bachelors in Chinese literature, at the Chinese University of Hong Kong where she met King Tung Ma, her eventual husband. Motivated by her love, she moved to the United States where she would marry King, in 2001. The two of them were soulmates, the type of connection people only ever expect to see in movies. If you knew them you knew you’d never see one without the other. The two would move to Andover, Massachusetts and would have two daughters. She continued her studies and got her masters in business. Anna’s favorite saying was that, “the best things in life, are not things” which was ironically plastered on two wooden plaques around the house. She loved deeply and fiercely and was stubborn to a fault. She was hard on herself, but even harder on her kids pushing them to be the best people they ever could be, and for that we are eternally grateful. Anna touched so many hearts, she loved everyone and was loved by all. We will miss her dearly and will carry on her love of learning, the arts, nature, traveling, and most of all, the love she had for her family and friends. She is survived by her two daughters, Athena and Serena, her loving husband, King and of course the family dog that deserves a little more love, Sunny.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to calling hours for Anna on Thursday, July 18, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Dewhirst and Boles Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Methuen, MA 01844.
