Andrew "Andy" Robitaille Obituary

Andrew (“Andy”) Stephen Robitaille – North Andover, MA

On November 30, 2024, Andrew (“Andy”) Stephen Robitaille, 44, passed away peacefully and suddenly at his home in North Andover, Massachusetts. He was born in Lawrence, Massachusetts on May 7, 1980. He grew up in Methuen and was educated in the Methuen school system.  He was most recently employed by AAA Northeast as a flatbed driver.

Andy loved making music, riding his bike, photographing old mill buildings and other unique landmarks of the Merrimack Valley, attending live music concerts, playing and watching basketball. He was a diehard Celtics fan. He was adventurous, especially when it came to trying different kinds of food. He enjoyed finding the best dumplings when visiting the Chinatown neighborhood of Boston. He loved video games and also loved being in the mountains of New Hampshire. As a kid, he played Pop Warner football and was on a Championship winning team as a tailback when he was in grade school. With his extremely dry sense of humor, Andy was great at making people laugh.  He would have made an excellent roastmaster.

Andy was a fun and loving uncle to his nephew Sammy, and nieces, Paloma and Olivia. He went fishing with Sammy when they visited and spent hours helping them look for sea creatures and shells. Though he didn’t have children himself, he was a patient and devoted uncle.

Andy is survived by his mother, Barbara Robitaille and his father, Robert Robitaille, his sister Lynn Robitaille García (Gerardo) and brother Matthew Robitaille (Ana) as well as his nephew Sammy García Robitaille, and nieces Paloma García Robitaille and Olivia Robitaille.  Other survivors include his Uncle David and Aunt Betty Marineau, Uncle Greg Zukowski and “Auntie Chris” and “Uncle Chuck” McKenna as well as many cousins and friends who will miss him dearly. He is predeceased by grandparents Lucille and Raymond Marineau and Isola and Stephen Robitaille.

Rest easy, Andy. We are so very proud of you. We love you and will hold you forever in our hearts.
