Albert F. Powell, Jr.

Albert F. Powell, Jr 91 of Salem NH passed away on Tuesday January 10, 2023 at Penacook Place, Haverhill. Mr. Powell was born, raised and educated in Lawrence and was a 1949 graduate of Lawrence High School. Before retirement in 1990, Al worked at Western Electric Company of North Andover for over 36 years. Al enjoyed camping, kayaking, fishing and gardening. He liked building bird houses and dining out with family and friends. He was also active with Cub Scouting in Salem, NH when his children were growing up.

Al was predeceased by his wife Arlene (Birtles) Powell. His family members include his son David A. Powell of Kentucky and his daughter Jean A. Najuck and her husband Steven Najuck of Salem, NH. He also leaves his daughter-in-law Gail Powell of Salem, NH, 4 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, 2 nephews and 1 cousin. He was predeceased by his sons Keith Powell and Robert Powell.
