We gather together with heavy hearts to celebrate the life of Aisha Thomas, who was born on March 26, 1974, at Holy Family Hospital in Methuen. Aisha was a light in this world, and the love she shared will remain with all of us forever. Aisha’s life was defined by the joy she brought to those around her. She attended Lawrence High School and she was employed at Lawrence General Hospital for many years and ended her career as the head cook in the kitchen. She enjoyed walking trails and outdoor activities. Aisha’s laughter, kindness, and strength left a lasting impression on everyone who had the privilege to know her. She was more than just a title or role; Aisha was the heartbeat of her family and friends. She was a protector, a source of wisdom, and the person you could count on when life got tough. Her presence made everything brighter, her laughter was contagious, and she made sure everyone around her felt loved and uplifted. Her friends and family remember the laughs shared at family gatherings, her warm spirit, and the love she gave unconditionally. She touched the lives of everyone who met her, whether through a kind word, a shared moment, or simply by being her authentic self.
Aisha leaves behind her loving parents, Victoria Thomas and Jimmy Jackson, her sisters Priscilla Hazelwood, Carla Bradshaw, Sandra Thomas, and Sheila Thomas, along with many aunts and uncles, many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She also leaves behind many cousins, childhood friends and all her colleagues at LGH. She touched the lives of everyone who met her, and her impact will be felt forever. Her spirit, her joy, and her loyalty will never be forgotten. Though she now rests in peace, we will forever carry her memory in our hearts.
