Adalgisa Celeste Polanco, also known as Ada, passed away November 24th, 2021, at 12:15am after a short battle with Covid-19 at the age of 56. She passed peacefully with her children and sister Elisa at her bedside.
She was a dedicated mother, grandmother, sister and friend. With the most infectious laugh, Ada loved having a good time being surrounded by friends and family while playing a good card game and enjoying delicious foods she made. Everyone that crossed her path received only kindness at her hands. Ada’s home was always open to a friend or family in need. She fostered such strong relationships with her guests that they lasted a lifetime. She touched so many people’s lives during her time living in New York City, Massachusetts and the Dominican Republic.
Ada’s pride and joy of her life were her 4 children and 5 grandchildren who called her and will always know her as Tata. She is survived by her 4 loving children, Naomi, Melanie, Ray and Steven, and 5 grandchildren Jacob, Maxwell, Rory, Titus and Simon.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation and a memorial service at Dewhirst & Boles Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Methuen, MA on December 4th, 2021 between the hours of noon and 2:00pm.
