Zofia (Lepicka) Dziedzic, 87 of Lawrence passed away peacefully at the Academy Manor in Andover on Monday, August 5, 2019.
The daughter of the late Wladyslaw and Bronislawa (Korwek) Lepicki , Zofia was born in Rogenice, Poland on January 3, 1932. She was educated in Poland. She survived the German occupation of Poland and the Communist Regime, raising her family in Poland. She came to the United States in the mid-1990’s, settling in greater Lawrence. She was employed as an inspector for a medical wholesaler in Peabody from where she retired. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting.
Zofia was the wife of the late Leon Dziedzic, who died in 2008, and is survived by her sons; Jerzy Dziedzic and his wife Zofia of Poland; Zbigniew Dziedzic and his wife Rebecca of Salem, NH; Miroslaw Dziedzic and his wife Irena of Windham, NH; Janusz Dziedzic and his wife Ewa of Methuen; Wieslaw Dziedzic of Salem, NH, and Waldemar Dziedzic and his wife Urszula of Arizona; 10 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren; a sister Halina Sokolowska of Poland; and nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held Thursday, August 8, 2019 at 11:00 am at the Dewhirst & Boles Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Methuen, MA 01844. Burial will following the Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Lawrence. Relatives and friends may call Wednesday, August 7, 2019 from 4:00 – 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
